Fashion Event - Dolce & Gabbana after party: LA DOLCE ESTATE

Definitely the most anticipated event of this 2012 Man Fashion Week in Milan. And the expectations were not disappointed. On the evening of Saturday 14 January, the Dolce and Gabbana boutique in Corso Venezia collected its new "family" for the launch of the advertising campaign video for men's  2012 S/S collection: "La Bella Estate".
The short movie was screened during the evening on the Martini Bar  Terrace while the upper floor of the boutique was set up with the giant men's advertising campaign shot by Mariano Vivanco. Of course at the event could not miss the beautiful Bianca Balti with her little daughter Matilde (also a star of the campaign), Filippo Nigro, Beppe Fiorello, Primo Reggiani, Chiara Francini, Francesco Scianna and Thomas Trabacchi, then again David Gandy and Beyonce Knowles' younger sister, Solange.
The atmosphere of the party remembered exactly the mood of the ad campaign and we felt like at a Sicilian Baroque style reception in a beautiful summer evening.

Sicuramente l'evento più atteso di questa 2012 Man Fashion Week in Milano. E le aspettative non sono state affato deluse. La sera di sabato 14 gennaio la boutique Dolce e Gabbana Uomo di Corso Venezia ha raccolto la sua nuova "famiglia" per il lancio del video campagna pubblicitaria della collezione maschile S/S 2012 dal titolo "La Bella Estate".
Lo short movie è stato proiettato durante la serata all'interno della veranda del Bar Martini mentre il piano superiore della boutique era allestito con le gigantografie della campagna pubblicitaria maschile scattate da Mariano Vivanco. All'evento non potevano naturalmente mancare la bellissima Bianca Balti con la piccola Matilde (anche lei protagonista della campagna pubblicitaria), Filippo Nigro, Beppe Fiorello, Primo Reggiani, Chiara Francini, Francesco Scianna e Thomas Trabacchi, poi ancora David Gandy e la sorellina di Beyoncè Knowles Solange.
L'atmosfera del party ricordava esattamente il mood della campagna e ci si sentiva come ad un ricevimento in pieno stile barocco siciliano in una sera di Bella Estate.

Frankie rocks!!!

The autumn edition of Lineapelle gave to Bologna for the fashion event of the season, a show which saw starring one of the biggest names of the fashion system, Frankie Morello.

L'edizione autunnale di Lineapelle ha regalato a Bologna per l'evento moda della stagione, uno show che ha visto protagonista uno tra i nomi più importanti del fashion system, ovvero Frankie Morello.


The success that has featured the italian maisòn in the last period, apart from bring it to be one of the most known and disribuited brand in the world, has consolidated the collaboration with the italian industry of leather.

Il successo che ha caretterizzato la maisòn italiana nell'ultimo periodo oltre a portarla ad essere tra i marchi più riconosciuti e distribuiti nel mondo, ha consolidato l'impegno e la collaborazione con l'idustria italiana dei pellami.

The location, Palazzo Re Enzo, has turned for the occasion in a court garden with trees and lot of pumpkins and in the middle a red cake that reminded the tipical '80 leather jacket, one of the maison distinguishing rockabilly pieces.

Prima dello show gli ospiti sono stati accolti da un elegante rinfresco. La location, Palazzo Re Enzo, si era trasformata in un giardino interno con alberi e zucche e al centro della corte una torta rossa a forma di "chiodo", il tipico giubbotto di pelle anni '80, uno dei capi must dall'animo rockabilly della maisòn.

On the catwalk (made entirely of wood as usual) some outfits of 2010 FW collection: mermaid dresses, pleated naplak maxiskirt, lot of tulle and ballerina shoes on the heads of the models. The predominant color of course were red and black, yellow mustard seed also provided dog-tooth socks. Surely a very young taste on the way to the mood of the moment.

A sfilare in passerella (interamente in legno come da tradizione) gli outfit della collezione FW2010, abiti a sirena, maxiskirt in vernice plissettate, tanto tulle e mezzepunte da ballerina sulle teste delle modelle. I colori predominati naturalmente erano il rosso e il nero, giallo-senape previsto anche sulle calze in piè de poule. Un gusto sicuramente molto giovane e molto attento al mood del momento.

Among the guests, specially chosen by the two designers as their style icon, the beautiful British actress Jane Alexander, who attended the show with great attention, saying that Frankie Morello is the brand that identifies herself the most with his ironic mood.

Tra gli ospiti, scelta appositamente dai due stilisti come loro icona di stile, la bellissima attrice britannica Jane Alexander, che ha assistito alla sfilata con grande attenzione, affermando che Frankie Morello è il brand che la identifica maggiormente grazie al suo animo ironico.

It's easy to focus on irony when wearing ultra-feminine dresses that enhance your body.
However we liked Jane a lot.
Both for her mileage legs and for her irony.

E' facile puntare sull'ironicità quando si indossano abiti iperfemminili che valorizzano il proprio corpo. Ad ogni modo Jane ci è piaciuta tanto.
Sia per le sue gambe chilometriche che per la sua simpatia.

Fashion Event: Moby destroyed Bologna

Newyorker musician Moby started a new mini-tour with stops in Italy and L'Inde le Palais not miss the opportunity to have him as guest in the beautiful walls of the Bologna concept store. For the evening had been set up a space dedicated to the presentation of the photographic book titled Destroyed made by the same singer.

Il musicista newyorkese Moby inizia un nuovo minitour con tappe in Italia e L'Inde le Palais non si lascia sfuggire l'occasione per averlo ospite nelle splendide mura del concept store bolognese.
Per la serata era stato allestito uno spazio dedicato alla presentazione del libro fotografico dello stesso cantante dal titolo Destroyed.

After he autographed books inside the store the artist has moved into the courtyard of the Museo Civico where gave guests some of his greatest successes realized in a live performance by chills. Together with the powerful voice of Joy Malcolm and violinist Liz Liew sang songs like "Why does my heart feel so bad?", "Porcelain", "We are all made of stars" and three covers: "Walk on the Wild Side" Lou Reed's "Whole Lotta Love" Led Zeppelin and "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash.

Dopo aver autografato i libri all'interno ella boutique l'artista si è spostato nel cortile interno del Museo Civico dove ha regalato agli ospiti accorsi alcuni dei suoi successi maggiori in una performance live da brividi. Assieme alla voce potente di Joy Malcolm e alla violinista Liz Liew ha intonato brani come “Why does my heart feel so bad?”, “Porcelain”, “We all are made of stars” e tre cover: “Walk on the wild side” di Lou Reed, “Whole lotta love” dei Led Zeppelin e “Ring of fire” di Johnny Cash.

It 's time for Pitti, it's time for events. In Florence, the watchword is one: Luisa Via Roma. The most famous shop in the world this week has given birth to a number of parties. Fashion Event: The Rotten Salad

The star of the blog is slowly turning off .... just like a supernova Chiara Ferragni is entering a phase of enormous decline. The events that see her as protagonist are more and more boring. The last, in order of time, took place in Bologna concept store L'Inde le Palais last Tuesday, May 31, and believe us, it seemed to be at a Justin Bieber concert or, worse still, to a party of 18 °. Footsteps of young girls accompanied by puzzled-face parents with cameras ready to take pictures ...glam event or day out trip? Of course it was already known to many of us that Miss Ferragni does not inspire particular credibility among bloggers .. but we never expected such a flop .... my dear Chiara, rather than blonde your salad is getting yellow...you should invent something before it end up rotting at all!

La stella dei blog si sta lentamente spegnendo....proprio come una supernova Chiara Ferragni sta entrando in una fase di enorme declino. Gli eventi che la vedono protagonista sono sempre più noiosi. L'ultimo, in ordine di tempo, ha preso luogo nel concept store bolognese L'Inde le Palais lo scorso martedì 31 maggio, e credeteci, sembrava di essere al concerto di Justin Bieber o, peggio ancora, ad una festa di un 18°. Orme di ragazzine accompagnate da genitori dalle facce perplesse con tanto di macchina fotografica pronta per scattare la foto ricordo...evento glam o gita fuori porta??
Certo era già noto a molti di noi che la Ferragni non ispirasse particolare simpatia tra i blogger..ma non ci saremmo mai aspettati un flop del genere....mia cara Chiara, più che bionda la tua insalata sta diventando gialla....inventati qualcosa prima che finisca per marcire del tutto, perchè il boccone sarà davvero amaro da mandare giù!

Fashion Event: I Cavalli e le 2 Torri

An evening much over the top took place last Wednesday, April 6 in Bologna. In the beautiful location of Palazzo Re Enzo, in the historic center, Linea Pelle wanted to celebrate its 25th anniversary in style, choosing to work with one of the most resonant names in Italian fashion that has always made famous the quality of Our leathers in the world, Roberto Cavalli.

Una serata decisamente sopra le righe avvenuta lo scorso mercoledì 6 aprile a Bologna.
Nella splendida location di Palazzo Re Enzo, in pieno centro storico, Linea Pelle ha voluto festeggiare i suoi 25 anni di attività in grande stile, scegliendo di collaborare con uno dei nomi più risonanti della moda italiana che ha da sempre reso famosa la qualità dei nostri pellami nel mondo, Roberto Cavalli.

On the catwalk of the magnificent Salone del Podestà, some of the leather outfit planned for the actual S/S collection and, after a video screening on the carreer highlights of the great designer, a presentation of the dress that made the history of Florentine brand. And finally, welcome by the intense applause of the audience, the beautiful and excited Eva Cavalli, the right-hand woman and head of the style department, rewarded  by the managing director of Lineapelle for the work done so far.

A sfilare, nel magnifico Salone del Podestà, alcuni tra gli outfit in pelle previsti per la P/E attuale e, dopo la proiezione di un video sui momenti più salienti della carriera del grande stilista, una presentazione degli abiti che hanno fatto la storia della griffe fiorentina. E infine, accolta dagli intensi applausi della platea, l'uscita trionfante della bellissima ed emozionatissima Eva Cavalli, braccio destro del maestro e capo ufficio stile, premiata dall'amministratore delegato di Lineapelle per l'operato svolto fin'ora.

After the show, a grand reception in the courtyard of the Palazzo prepared according to the taste of the fashion house with projections on the castle walls and animal carpets along its perimeter. A blend of tradition and innovation that has left everyone breathless.

Dopo lo show, un maestoso rinfresco nel cortile interno del Palazzo allestito secondo il gusto della maisòn con proiezioni sulle mura del castello e tappeti animalièr lungo il suo perimetro. Un connubio tra tradizione e avanguardia che ha lasciato tutti senza fiato.

Among the special guests, the luxury shoe fashion designer Diego Dolcini and some of the most important emerging designers of the moment: the Italians Leit Motiv and the and the Georgian David Koma, that have seen with us of The Glamaholic, the incredible firework show that ended the evening with a flourish.

Tra gli ospiti d'onore, il fashion designer di scarpe luxury Diego Dolcini e alcuni tra gli stilisti emergenti più lanciati del momento: gli italianissimi Leit Motiv e l'inglese David Koma che, insieme a noi di The Glamaholic, hanno assistito all'incredibile spettacolo pirotecnico che ha concluso la serata in bellezza.
