The Boys are back in town. That's right! Man fashion week is back and we want to reveal you next autumn/winter trends through the pics shot at Costume National and Frankie Morello fashion shows.

The boys are back in town. Proprio così, è tornata la moda uomo e vi sveliamo le tendenze del prossimo autunno - inverno attraverso gli scatti realizzati alle sfilate di Costume National e Frankie Morello.

Definitely a show over the top for Frankie Morello. The two designers for their fashion shows have created a true meditation tour, from materialism to simplicity, from the city to the Himalayas. A meditative and mystical journey to find the lightness and purity, abandoning attachment to material goods. And so the collection is divided into three parts: the stages through which Frankie Morello's man reaches the freedom. The clothes are a symbol of transformation and mark the passage through materials up to the full awareness of themselves, a full nudity, played by Giovanni Sartori.

Sicuramente una sfilata sopra le righe quella di Frankie Morello. I due stilisti per il  loro fashion show  hanno creato un vero meditation tour, dal materialismo alla semplicità, dalla city all'Himalaya. Un viaggio meditativo e mistico per ritrovare la leggerezza e la purezza, abbandonando l'attaccamento ai beni materiali. Ed è così che la collezione si suddivide in tre parti: le fasi che l'uomo Frankie Morello  attraversa per raggiungere la libertà. Gli abiti sono simbolo della trasformazione e ne scandiscono il passaggio attraverso i materiali fino ad arrivare alla piena consapevolezza di se stessi, la completa nudità ,interpretata  dall'attore Giovanni Sartori.

Store the catwalks, it's time to think about the evening event. The Man Dolce and Gabbana boutique in Corso Venezia hosted the event to launch the 2012 S/S video advertising campaign in which the entire cast was present in addition to international guests including Solange Knowles and David Gandy

Archiviate le passerelle si pensa all'evento della serata. La boutique Dolce e Gabbana Uomo di Corso Venezia ha infatti ospitato l'evento per lanciare il video campagna pubblicitaria della collezione S/S 2012 al quale era presente l'intero cast oltre agli ospiti internazionali tra cui Solange Knowles e David Gandy

From Corso Venezia we move on to Via Senato, where the inevitable Siviglia Fashion Party lead the way for the rich voice of Emile Sandè. The models have in fact marched to the tune of his hit song Heaven.

Da Corso Venezia ci spostiamo in Via del Senato per l'immancabile Siviglia Fashion Party dove a farla da padrone la voce intensa di Emile Sandè. I modelli hanno infatti sfilato sulle note della sua hit song Heaven.

Frankie rocks!!!

The autumn edition of Lineapelle gave to Bologna for the fashion event of the season, a show which saw starring one of the biggest names of the fashion system, Frankie Morello.

L'edizione autunnale di Lineapelle ha regalato a Bologna per l'evento moda della stagione, uno show che ha visto protagonista uno tra i nomi più importanti del fashion system, ovvero Frankie Morello.


The success that has featured the italian maisòn in the last period, apart from bring it to be one of the most known and disribuited brand in the world, has consolidated the collaboration with the italian industry of leather.

Il successo che ha caretterizzato la maisòn italiana nell'ultimo periodo oltre a portarla ad essere tra i marchi più riconosciuti e distribuiti nel mondo, ha consolidato l'impegno e la collaborazione con l'idustria italiana dei pellami.

The location, Palazzo Re Enzo, has turned for the occasion in a court garden with trees and lot of pumpkins and in the middle a red cake that reminded the tipical '80 leather jacket, one of the maison distinguishing rockabilly pieces.

Prima dello show gli ospiti sono stati accolti da un elegante rinfresco. La location, Palazzo Re Enzo, si era trasformata in un giardino interno con alberi e zucche e al centro della corte una torta rossa a forma di "chiodo", il tipico giubbotto di pelle anni '80, uno dei capi must dall'animo rockabilly della maisòn.

On the catwalk (made entirely of wood as usual) some outfits of 2010 FW collection: mermaid dresses, pleated naplak maxiskirt, lot of tulle and ballerina shoes on the heads of the models. The predominant color of course were red and black, yellow mustard seed also provided dog-tooth socks. Surely a very young taste on the way to the mood of the moment.

A sfilare in passerella (interamente in legno come da tradizione) gli outfit della collezione FW2010, abiti a sirena, maxiskirt in vernice plissettate, tanto tulle e mezzepunte da ballerina sulle teste delle modelle. I colori predominati naturalmente erano il rosso e il nero, giallo-senape previsto anche sulle calze in piè de poule. Un gusto sicuramente molto giovane e molto attento al mood del momento.

Among the guests, specially chosen by the two designers as their style icon, the beautiful British actress Jane Alexander, who attended the show with great attention, saying that Frankie Morello is the brand that identifies herself the most with his ironic mood.

Tra gli ospiti, scelta appositamente dai due stilisti come loro icona di stile, la bellissima attrice britannica Jane Alexander, che ha assistito alla sfilata con grande attenzione, affermando che Frankie Morello è il brand che la identifica maggiormente grazie al suo animo ironico.

It's easy to focus on irony when wearing ultra-feminine dresses that enhance your body.
However we liked Jane a lot.
Both for her mileage legs and for her irony.

E' facile puntare sull'ironicità quando si indossano abiti iperfemminili che valorizzano il proprio corpo. Ad ogni modo Jane ci è piaciuta tanto.
Sia per le sue gambe chilometriche che per la sua simpatia.

MFW S/S 2012: A very busy day!!!

The alarm of "The Glamaholic" team this Saturday, June 18 has rang really early. We arrive at the station just in time to board the train to Milan. After check-in, a quick breakfast, then travel to pick up invitations for fashion shows and events of the day. At 12.30, Costume National.

La sveglia del team "The Glamaholic" questo sabato 18 giugno è suonata veramente presto. Arriviamo appena in tempo in stazione per salire a bordo del treno per Milano.
Dopo il check-in, una colazione veloce poi di corsa a prelevare gli inviti per le sfilate e gli eventi del giorno.
Alle 12.30 ad attenderci, lo show di Costume National.

After the shots at Frankie Morello we head to Dolce & Gabbana boutique in Via della Spiga 26 where there will be a cocktail at the presentation of the photographic book in honor of one of the icons of mediterranean man beauty which is the designers' mouthpiece: David Gandy.

Dopo gli scatti da Frankie Morello ci dirigiamo verso la boutique Dolce & Gabbana in via della Spiga 26 dove è previsto un rinfresco in occasione della presentazione del libro fotografico in onore di una delle icone della bellezza maschile mediterranea della quale si fanno portavoce gli stilisti: David Gandy.

No time to wet the lips that it's time to get to the show by Roberto Cavalli expected at 7 pm in the beautiful garden of Palazzo Serbelloni. The first face of the runway was top model Jon Kortajarena

.......It's 7.30 pm, we get in the car that would take us rapidly near Piazza Duomo, where the "Preppy" event organized by Tommy Hilfiger was in full swing. Attending the evening, among other guests, celebrities Nina Senicar, Cristiana Capotondi and Francesco Scianna

......Ore 19.30 ad attenderci traviamo l'auto che ci avrebbe portato velocemente nei pressi di Piazza Duomo dove, era in pieno svolgimento l'evento "Preppy" organizzato da Tommy Hilfiger. A presenziare la serata, tra i vari ospiti, Nina Senicar, Cristiana Capotondi e Francesco Scianna

Not even waiting for the end of the cocktail to head in what would be the most exclusive party hosted at the Martini in the man boutique in Corso Venezia. In addition to the designers Domenico and Stefano was present the entire team of models who took part at the fashion show held at the Metropolitan at 2 pm. Needless to say that the guest star of the event was David Gandy even though there was also the already well-known face of the fashion sistem Noah Mills

Non attendiamo nemmeno la fine del cocktail per dirigerci in quello che sarebbe stato il party più esclusivo ospitato al Martini all'interno della boutique Uomo di Corso Venezia. Oltre agli stilisti Domenico e Stefano era presente l'intera squadra di modelli che avevano preso parte alla sfilata tenuta alle 14 al Metropolitan. Inutile dire che la guest star dell'evento era David Gandy anche se non era da meno il suo collega, ormai già volto noto del fashion sistem Noah Mills
