In '91, the 50th birthday of Grace, Anna arranged a big party in her honor at Indochine club in New York, where the walls were adorned with giant posters of the years when she worked as a model and came at dinner, as a surprise, Azzedine Alaia, Grace most loved designer.
Stiamo parlando di Grace Coddington, 1941, ora direttrice creativa della rivista delle riviste ovvero Vogue US. L'unica che davvero riesce a tener testa alla famigerata Anna Wintour. Amiche nemiche, sia nel lavoro che nella vita. Nel '91, per il 50esimo compleanno di Grace, Anna organizzò un mega party in suo onore all'Indochine di New York dove, ad adornare le pareti c'erano le gigantografie degli anni in cui ha lavorato come modella e a sorpresa giunse alla cena Azzedine Alaia, lo stilista più amato da Grace.
