Happy Bruno Day

Yesterday after his concert held at Assago Forum, Bruno Mars made his appearance at Gold Club in Milan, where waiting for him and do the honors course there were the two designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.


Ieri, dopo il concerto tenuto al Forum di Assago, Bruno Mars ha fatto la sua apparizione al Gold club di Milano dove ad attenderlo e a fare gli onori di casa c'erano naturalmente i due stilisti Domenico Dolce e Stefano Gabbana.

For the occasion, were distributed to all the guests a pair of the new Dolce e Gabbana '70s-style glasses that recall those used by the artist himself in his videos.

After a few shots and a lot of drinks comes to surprise the moment of the cake-cut for Bruno's 26th birthday. To share this moment as well as fans of the singer and friends of the designers, several faces from cinema, showbiz and fashion: the actors Chiara Francini and Primo Reggiani, Alessandro Cattelan, Francesco and Teresa Missoni and La Pina.

Per l'occasione sono stati distribuiti a tutti gli invitati i nuovi modelli di occhiali in stile anni '70 che richiamano a quelli utilizzati dallo stesso artista nei suoi videoclip.
Dopo alcuni scatti e svariati drink arriva a sorpresa il momento del taglio della torta in occasione del 26esimo compleanno di Bruno. A condividere questo momento oltre ai fan del cantante e gli amici degli stilisti, diversi volti noti di cinema, spettacolo e moda: gli attori Primo Reggiani e Chiara Francini, Alessandro Cattelan, Teresa e Francesco Missoni e La Pina.

The evening continued late into the night in a blaze of stars, sequins and musical notes (both the ones of the dj and the ones on the dresses of the DG addicts) and this was for certain a birthday in grand style for Bruno.

La serata è proseguita fino a notte fonda in un tripudio di stelle, paillettes e note musicali (sia quelle del dj che quelle degli abiti delle DG addicts) e per Bruno Mars e stato di sicuro un compleanno in grande stile.

Dolce & Gabbana Eyewear adv campaign

Dolce & Gabbana decides to celebrate one of the great geniuses of the fashion world, the French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent  through the release of the new eyewear line advertising campaign, reinterpreting a famous photograph of the fashion designer.

The protagonist of the modern key repetition of the static pose is the male icon oh beauty David Gandy photographed for the occasion by the expert hand of Mariano Vivanco.

Dolce & Gabbana ha deciso di celebrare uno dei grandi geni della moda mondiale, il fashion designer francese Yves Saint Laurent. E lo ha fatto attraverso lo scatto della nuova campagna pubblicitaria della linea Eyewear, che riprende una fotografia celebre che ritraeva proprio lo stilista.
A riproporre la posa statica in chiave moderna una delle icone di bellezza maschile targata Dolce & Gabbana : David Gandy immortalato per l'occasione dalla grande mano di Mariano Vivanco.

Carine Roitfeld's Book, Irreverent

Carine Roitfeld's upcoming book, Irreverent, doesn't hit stores until Oct. 18, but previews of the 368-page tome which culls photographs from her 30-year career, plus personal photographs and notes from the likes of Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, and Tom Ford  have hit the Internet this morning
Roitfeld already has another book up her sleeve  one she's doing with Karl Lagerfeld, that's set to release in December and as for further projects, she told Vogue.com recently: “I have so many proposals in front of me, cosmetics or even a clothes line. I didn’t say yes or no.”
She added that she's enjoying her moment in the spotlight: “I worked 20 years ago, and 20 years ago no one was talking about me. I didn’t change. Maybe I was at the right moment. But sometimes I say, What is so interesting about me? I am just doing photo shoots. It’s not something that extraordinary. I’m not a great artist, I’m not writing books, I’m not a painter, and people in the streets ask me for a picture or a note and I say why? But I think it’s better to appreciate it, because maybe it’s not forever.”

Has Marc Jacobs accepted to the leader of Christian Dior maison? It seems that everything is now ready for the passage of the great New York fashion designer from a French fashion house, Louis Vuitton, to another. The one that until recently was headed by the great British designer John Galliano, fired because of some legal problems. It seems that the fashion designer, who is at the helm of Vuitton fashion house since 1997, is ready to occupy the place left empty by several months ago from his well known colleague. Now it seems all ready for the ride. At least that's what the U.S. newspaper Women's Wear Daily says.
The American fashion designer Marc Jacobs was part of the array of eligible candidates to the role of fashion designer creative director of Dior. And now it seems it is all true. Over the next few days the leaders of the French fashion group, with no designer since last March, and creative's lawyers will meet in Paris to define all the details of the case. Glamaholic team is sure that thanks to his always innovative style Dior women also will look more fresh, reinventing finally the famous wasp waist of the 50's!


Marc Jacobs ha detto sì a Christian Dior? Pare che ormai sia tutto pronto per il passaggio del grande stilista di moda newyorchese, da una maison francese, Louis Vuitton, ad un’altra, quella che fino a poco tempo fa era capitanata dal grande stilista inglese John Galliano, licenziato per via di alcuni guai giudiziari. Pare proprio che il fashion designer, che si trova alla guida della maison Vuitton dal 1997, è pronto per occupare quel posto lasciato vuoto ormai molti mesi fa dal suo noto collega. Ormai sembra tutto pronto per il passaggio. Almeno questo è quello che ci dice il quotidiano statunitense Women’s wear daily.
Lo stilista di moda americano Marc Jacobs faceva parte della schiera di fashion designer papabili al ruolo di direttore creativo di Dior. E ora pare che sia tutto vero. Nei prossimi giorni i responsabili del gruppo di moda francese, senza stilista dal marzo scorso, e gli avvocati del creativo si incontreranno a Parigi per definire tutti i dettagli del caso.
